Linux Professional Certification

The Linux Pro Certification measures an examinee's ability to perform tasks commonly performed by IT professionals who work with a version of the Linux operating system. Linux training is beneficial in a variety of environments for a large number of IT careers and job descriptions. Such professionals include network and systems administrators, data center support specialists, senior support specialists, and security specialists. Real-world job tasks include managing hardware and software components, managing networks, managing users and file systems, setting up new systems, and general proficiency with the Linux command line.
